I am new to the board and am considering buying on of the two cars. From my experience the e55 is much more fun in driving and i know there is lots of mods that i can buy to make it even crazier.

On the otehr hand I felt the e63 had power but missing the intial torque the e55 has.

From experience from owners of each car, please share your thoughts why you would choose either one.

Also, leases on teh e63 are great right now and that is why i am considering to buy new rather a used e55

 

if your not gonna mod and want a great car get the 63.
if your like me and want to mod the hell out of it then you need a 55.

 

Hard question to answer when $$ comes into the equation. You can get a fairly low mileage 04 or 05 E55 in the 50's. I don't know that I would pay 35-40k more for an E63.

Im going to have to agree. How much money do you want to spend? I came from a turbo charged car and I didnt want to deal with always making sure I wasn't leaking boost. I decided to get the E63. She is no snail. Why not go drive both and make up your mind. Either way you go, its not like you are going to lose. Both are amazing cars.
