My first road race story (can you remember yours?)
I've only had the car about 2 weeks, and never really had anyone "road-race" me. (Not that i condone this behaviour :>)
Anyhow, at the red light this morning, i sped off and left all cars behind... to my surprise... i see a red Mitsubishi Lancer right behind me.
Surprised i gun it and pull away... but it seems his keeping close only losing a bit of ground.
At the next light to turn right... its 2 lanes. He gets in the outer lane and i let him pass. He speeds off.... I gun it... and kept up with him. Only now i realise his car is a EVO 9... by his number plates.
Its hard to tell if i was faster than him or otherwise... i was scared going this fast on the open road... but it seemed there wasn't too much in it? I'm not experienced though.
Anyhow.. when we leave i flash my lights... he waves.. and we depart. Nice and friendly moment.
