does anyone know what the slotted thing in the e63's glove box all the way to the right does? its been bothering me since i got it seeing as a coin doesn't fit in there. thanks

I think it's like a heatsink? it does look like one, though. don't know what it's trying to cool, though. What's behind the fin?

no idea, dosent seem to get hot and if it was a heatsink why would they put it there with no big red sticker saying do not touch, it has to serve some purpose, although it does look like a heatsink. i wonder if my dealer would know...
