I'll take that honor, thank you very much. I highly doubt that there will be any other 14 second cars, other than mine. I'm really just coming to meet everyone and eat some chicken.
Thanks again for your spot, PTE. I'll try to make you proud and tree some people, at least!

Showing a DA at this posting time of roughly 1800ft. Not what the guys wanted to see at track that runs 80ft in actual elevation, but I'm sure they are having a blast.
Sunny and 82 right now.

I'm about 90 mins N of the track (supposed to be there ) and it's a little over 90 degrees here. I hope it's cooler at the track, but I'll bet it's just as hot.
Here's what MIR's website says - http://www.mirdrag.com/v2/weather/ - 84 deg, feels like 90.

All of these cars are running on the same track, same conditions, same day. I doubt any records get broken, but this event is perfect for comparing the various cars and aftermarket set-ups and settling the friendly rivalries. Main thing is that they're all having a great time and getting a bunch of runs in. Wish I could have made it...hopefully something like this could get organized in E-town.

well my day never started out right. first my notebook never sync'd up to the EMS and i couldnt read my data to see if anything was wrong.
then i had to figure out why 3rd gear didnt want to go in right away *later found out why and fixed*
and then to top it all off i realized why i couldnt get into the 10s. pic below will show the problem.. what it doesnt show is me crying.
the same and last run i finally got the notebook to sync with the EMS *to data log* it was already too late and i figured out the problem.
oh well thats racing, better luck next time. it was good seeing all the pretty cars and the older crowd, for all the other people i didnt say hi to. hi.

Well I'll have to say that was a ton of fun. First time I've ever ran a car at the strip....I have a lot of learning to do but damn was that fun. I personally wanted to see my car get into the 12's on the stock RFT tires (they really do suck), but only managed 3 13.1x's in a row after a few crappy runs. I'll be there next time w/ better weather. Launching is a bear.
The rest of you guys have some seriously mean machines
S600 running 10.80 then 10.88? I think, sick. That car takes off like a missile w/ very little fuss or noise, then just pulls and pulls and pulls.
All the e55's were very impressive, even saw one of you in the high 10's w/ the e55......
Between me and my friend we have over 300 photos, they will be posted once they are edited and sorted. If I post any pictures and you guys want the full resolution versions let me know.
Again thanks so much for the event, I'll be back if there is another this fall......hopefully with less than mid 90's weather.

Had a great time with all of you guys. The weather was a little too hot though. My best time slip was as follows with a 150hp wet shot (eek!)so I was cheating a little for my e.t. It shows even with bad weather that if you stuff enough nitrous into an engine it will perform.
60'-1.618
330-4.614
1/8-7.02@103.36
1000-9.06
1/4-10.805@130.23
Even that wasn't what I would consider a "perfect" run as the car hit a torque limit at the 1-2 shift which cost a little e.t. even though it doesn't show at all on the time slip. My last run of the day was a 10.93@127 which actually felt much better than the 10.80 run but the car was heat soaked at that time. Thanks to Adam for bringing me my high flow air filters by BMC which made all of the difference in the world....hahaha. They are nice units and fit perfectly....installed them at the track in less than 5 minutes with no fuss. It was funny after some of my good passes as my excitement doesn't show and some spectators actually told me to cheer up and try to look happier. Sorry guys thats just me....hahaha. Thanks for a great day Ahmad...everything worked out well.

I was ready to head down from Jersey but the spirit didn't move me this morning at 6 am as I had hoped it would. I just turned over in bed and went back to sleep.
It sounds like a few cars made some good numbers even with the heat being on High today.

Thanks to everyone that came out. A few records were broken by several cars. Stephen and his S600 which has been the talk of the day The turbo BMW's going 10.6x and one of them I believe trapped as high as 142!
It was nice meeting everyone (I felt like I was meeting some living legends) and also good seeign familiar faces. Sorry the weather didnt cooperate but I will set up another one in a month or two. I'm open to dates if anyone has any suggestions. Also if anyone felt like I should do something differently next time please let me know. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did (even though I only got 3 passes due to big tires).
