stock goats aren't that fast...but neither are the m's i've come up against. the difference is that the goat is very accepting to bolt-on power and can easily be made to run in the 10's.

I have seen some wicked GTO turbos with turbos mounted at the back end by the rear wheel. They are running 10's. Total sleeper.

Almost all stock or almost stock GTO's are fairly quick but nothing to write home about. Now, slap on some NOS, sticky tires, tuning, and suspension parts and you have yourself one mean drag car.
