2004 E55 AMG and 2003 C320 4Matic Miss my 993 Turbo above!!
Modifications have been ordered!!!

On the way are the following modifications:

VRUS 80 MM TB
VRP Extreme Belt Wrap Kit
EVO Shorty Headers

Next Week
Quaife Limited Slip Differential

The ASP Pulley and EVO IC will be phase II of my project.....

Thanks to Dave, my Master MB guy,Victor and others for your help and input along the way.

I will be getting my unmolested 2004 E55 dynoed for a base line and will follow up with another dyno after the mods to give all of you the precise HP and TQ increases. Than it will be time to go to the track for my first 1/4 mile run.

Psyched!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Roland!!

It was great talking with you.. I could tell by your excitement that you are a real enthusiast and you will love the car even more once the first round of mods are complete.

Find a good dyno shop and get a baseline done. Post the graph here so we can see how healthy the car is.

Do 2 dyno pulls.. Make sure you put the car in DYNO MODE. Do the first pull in 4th gear.. give it a 10min cool down and do another pull in 3rd gear. The reason for this is because the car will cut fuel on you at 155mph in 4th on the dyno so you wont get a clean pull right to redline. But, it will allow us to compare your numbers to everyone elses.. The 3rd gear pull will allow you to do 1 complete pull to redline so we can see what peak power is.

I spoke with your tech (Dave) and he is also pretty excited to do this for you.

Look forward to your feedback once you've had a chance to re-dyno the car after the mods.

Phenolics are part of my TB kit now.. I figure since the car has to come apart to get them installed, might as well bundle them together.

I actually mentioned to Roland about the belt wrap kit.. Since there was only 1 left he decided to jump on it now.. And, really, doubling the belt contact area on the S/C even in stock form will just ensure 100% power delivery all the time.

Are you doing any ECU upgrades? If so, which company are you going with? Kleemann, RennTech, Powerchip, etc... ?

Congrats on the mods.... Will totally transform your car to a more fun ride, and much more enjoyable. You will LOVE it...

Have not decided on the ECU yet... I am going to wait till after Phase I of mods are installed. When I get ready for the Pulley and IC (may wait for Victor's) than I will do the ECU. I need to consult with my tech and others who are assisting me on this project.....

Looking forward to my new ride after the mods. By the end of the month, Phase I should be complete.

I have an appointment at 3pm today to get my car dynoed for a baseline measurement for future mods. The shop is 8 miles from work.....Very convenient. Any words of wisdom before I go..... As Victor suggested, I will be getting two of them, one in 3rd and one in 4th......
