2004 E-55 For Sale
Guys:Unfortunately I have to put my 2004 E-55 up for sale. I got a new job in Atlanta, and will not have the garage space I have down here in Miami.
The car is silver, with black interior. It has 24,200 miles and is under the MB factory warranty until 4/28/08. VIN# is WDBUF76J9A492941. It was recently serviced at the local MB dealer. I replaced the original tires at 16,000 miles [if you don't go to the drag strip they last longer] The car was aligned including caster/camber bolts at 20,000 miles.
Options include navigation, bose, Sirius satellite radio, CD changer, xenon headlights, heated and cooled dynamic seats, panorama roof, trunk closer, side and rear window shades, keyless-go, parktronic, and lighted front door sils.
It has never been at the drag strip or track and has always been owned by a non-smoker. I am the second owner. It is always garaged in Miami, FL.
Price is a tough issue. I've seen asking prices for 2004's ranging from $45,000 [high mileag, low option cars] to as much as $58,000 [low mileage, high option cars]. Mine has all options other than distronic cruise, is still under full MB warranty for almost 10 months, and has low miles. I know the $58,000 price is pretty silly, but so is the $45,000 price.

I think he meant that 16,000 is a good amount of miles to get from a set. Mine last 16-18,000 with no track time and some guys are only getting 6-10,000 per set.
