Mannu81: As a RennTech dealer we can install the LM for you. We are in Santa Ana, next to South Coast Plaza.

Call or PM me for details.

Thanks,

I have some questions as I would be willing to buy a renntech module-->

1. How hard is it to install

2. What happens to your MB warranty, I know Renntech has a 2 year or something but I want to know about the mercedes warranty

3. Say my airmatic goes haywire and I need to get the car serviced how do I get the lowering module out, and can mercedes tell it was there?

Thanks

[QUOTE=ttgangsta;2322275]I have some questions as I would be willing to buy a renntech module-->

1. How hard is it to install = Difficult, if you're not wiring savy.

2. What happens to your MB warranty, I know Renntech has a 2 year or something but I want to know about the mercedes warranty = They dont know, if you dont tell them

3. Say my airmatic goes haywire and I need to get the car serviced how do I get the lowering module out, and can mercedes tell it was there? = There is an overide knob, just turn it and it'll raise your car to stock heights. I have my controller hidden in the armrest compartment.

RennTech is definitely the way to go. The basic install takes about an hour and whatever time you spend on any extra wiring (to place the unit in another spot or extend the knobs). If you have never installed a stereo, then do not attempt this. Other than that, it is simple wire splicing.
Depending on where you are in SoCal, there are plenty of shops. If you are close to Vadim, then that is a no-brainer. Don't hate them for working on all those volkswagens

Let us know if we can help you out with the ELM installation. We typically always have them in stock.

Thumbs up Links!

Why Go with expensive electronic modules that mess with your electronics?

You have to splice into your wiring harness to install these. They cost like $1,200 Plus the install if you can't do it yourself.

I have the mechanical ablity to do Anything I want... I had a professional race team ranked #7 in the World in NHRA. The only way to go for me was Adustable Air Rides Lowering links.

You can take off the wheels, and put them in on the driveway in 1/2 hr.

They are compleately adjustable on Each Wheel (modules are not)... And don't mess with your electronics... If you want to put the car back to stock... Swap your stock links back in, in 15min.

Look Here: http://www.adjustableairride.com/

John is a nice guy, and will give you any help you might need.

Best,

RoydRage

WRONG! the renntech module can be adjusted at LF, RF and Rear. Raising the car to 4x4 heights, dropping it to a ground slamming, un-drive able show car height. let me also mention, at a flip of a switch

Ahhh

You're Wrong...

My car was un-even in the rear only, and By your own statement you CANNOT adust the rear wheels separately... That is what I was refurring to.

End of story.

Be clear. If your car has three sensors, then the RennTech can fake them all out. What exactly is a link going to do when you have a skewed suspension? If there is only one sensor in the rear (as with the Airmatics), then what added adjusment do you get out of the links?
Now, if you car has four sensors, that is different and Renntech is ready for that, too. Keep in mind you are in the E55 forum and E55 = Airmatic.

Jang,

Yes my SL has 4 senors... When I checked into it... The RennTech adjust both rears together as one.
