Radio Replacement in 05' E55 AMG

I am sorry if I have put this into the wrong section, I am looking to replace the headunit in a 2005 E55 AMG with the Harmon Kardon factory system. My plan is to install a Kenwood DNX7100 Double Din unit with Nav/Bluetooth/Ipod Video, etc. Does anyone know where the factory amplifier is? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It should be in the trunk on the left side, behind the carpet in front of the DVD by the trunk hing.
