E63 running rich??
I have noticed this on my exhaust pipe tips that there is a black(carbon?) on the lower part on all four tips. You can clean them with chrome cleaner, but they start to get black again in about 2 tankfuls of gas. Is this normal, or do I might have a car that is running a little rich, and if I was, how could you tell? Maybe this is perfectly normal, and maybe not.. Just wanted some comments for guys who might know!!

Out Of Control!!
My exhaust pipes are black on the inside, too. They clean up a bit when I wash the car. I think it is from the A/F mixture going rich under load to protect the engine. Chrome cleaner is cheaper than pistons.
