A decent deal?
I'm going to my dealer this afternoon to write up an '08 E63 Iridium Silver/Black with the following options:
P2
iPod Integration
Power Trunk Closer
Pano Roof
Rear Side Window Blinds
Parktronic
The MSRP is $94,930 and they're offering $92,000 even for a 33 months lease. Their position is that they're splitting their margin with me and after checking Edmunds, that's the 95% truth as the $2,930 discount is close to 50% of the margin.
The ugly part is the MF, which sits at .00415, with a residual of 64%. The MBUSA base rate is probably .00405 so the dealer is padding, but not as outrageously as some of the others I've seen and it is only a 33 months lease.
Is this a decent deal?
It seems the '07s can be had for a much better discount.
Hope to have some input by the time I head to the dealer around 5ish EDT...

They also have another Iridium Silver in their inventory with the P30 option and the voice control module - MSRP at $103,940 and I'd considered it, but decided to be somewhat fiscally responsible by going without that option.
Oh and in case you're wondering, I WILL let my wife drive my car - I think she'd actually had it in our wedding vows that she can drive my cars...

Money factor is too high. Do you need it right away? didn't they have an AMG dream lease last month with a MF of about .0017?
I could'nt bring myself to pull the trigger at that rate. (unless your company is buying it for you as a company car)

Deal is OK...bypass the 030 option. Will not make the car any faster and unless you live on the autocross circuit not worth the money. Look for a leftover '07. Can be had in the
86-87G range.

Thanks for the responses received, I did decide to lease the car with a few more incentives thrown in, including the bluetooth module.
I did not find any new delivery mileage '07 in the few dealer inventories I looked in the metro NY/NJ area, though a couple of demos, which I'm never interested in for a car like this.
And as for the P30, I found most of the options to be cosmetic and the two that are not, the LSD would be great on track, but I have a dedicated track car for that; and the 186 MPH top speed would be theoretical at best - can't imagine getting anywhere near that on public roads unless I was on the autobahn.
I pick up the car tomorrow, and look forward to the experience of owing the E63 AMG, at least for 33 months!
