Heard of any MB Lease specials on E63?
Folks: I am in the market for a new E63, but my instinct is to wait for one of those MB incentive lease specials to make it financially manageable.
Has anyone heard of any lease or purchase specials coming down the pike?
Thanks

E63, SL 550 Sport,C63 Coupe On the Way!!
If you can find a dealer who has an 07 or can swap one they should do the special that they did in May-end of June just to unload it. Last i heard most E63's were located on the westcoast so if you live elsware you will have to pay transport
My deal is not so bad on a 24 month everyone thinks its a bargain because an E550 Sport or CLS550 actually leased higher for some reason when we compared back in June

Thanks BenzoManNY: I hadn't even thought about a 24 month lease; good idea. Thanks again for the input.

According to my dealer, any lease from MBF less than 36 months has a higher MF...ask me how I know...I just leased an '08 for 33 months and picked it up yesterday, the MF for my lease is .415. To be honest, I think .405 is the base rate from MBF so my dealer made up for the discount and the added goodies on the car with it IMHO.
The payment is around $1,740 a month.
FWIW, I did not leave a down payment or do a cap reduction, just the first month's payment plus fees.
There was a blow out deal on '07s a few months back with a crazy low MF rate, but alas, I didn't catch it.

.0415!! OUCH. No disrespect, but you are definitely paying to have the latest and greatest. I'd expect to pay no more than $1200 on a loaded one, especially if the terms are near 3 years.

The issue is waiting nobody likes to wait. The next decent deals on the '08 won't be until next spring.

I'd rather assume an '06 E55 / '07 E63 for $1000 per month and only 2 years than to pay almost $1800 for 3 years.
Wise money don't waste money.

Actually, you don't have to wait. Find a dealer and bargain. Hell, give me some money and I'll play broker. R didn't wait for the '07s to go on "sale". Incentives are offered in zillions of ways. Let the dealer work that part out. Just go tell them you are looking to assume a lease and would prefer a new one instead.

Here around northern NJ/metro NY, I looked but did not find any new '07 E63s in a few dealers' inventories that were not demo units. According to my customer rep, the incentive offered a few months ago blowing them out at .00150 MF (or something like that) really cleared out their '07 E63 inventory and they couldn't even get cars from other dealers to satisfy their customers' demands.
Plus my dealer is a very good one that I and my family have done business with over the years and have built a very good relationship with them. That counts for something in my books.
And yes, I do plead guilty in having not the patience of a saint to wait until another wave of incentives hit the dealer network to get the car...wanted to enjoy it through what's left of the summer before I have to slap a set of snow tires on it in a few months' time.
I appreciate your prudent financial management advice and wish I had the same resolve. But don't think the direct personal comments are necessary given that you don't know me at all personally?
Just my $0.02.

OUCH! And you were pleading no disrespect in a previous post!

Thanks to this board
I read about the special leases for the first time on this board and I ran to my MB dealer to get one! Unfortunately they did not have one but located one from another dealer exactly as I wanted: 2007 E63 black/black P2 etc.
I signed a 33 month Lease early July with a MF of 0.0015 with NO money down resulting in a payment of 1359 including tax.
They traded in my 04 E55 for 41.5k with 47000 miles.
I think this was a sweet deal all the way!
This board rocks!

No hard feelings, if you had no personal intentions then I consider this matter closed.
Love this board and you make it interesting!

Dear porschemeister:
what/where is your dealer? Perhaps they would like some more business; I would lease an '07 E63 for those $ numbers.
Thanks again.
