Bike race video for my E55/63 brothers
I don't usually cross post, but the bike race debate is always so red hot.
Got to run with an R6 today. What a blast. Here is what I learned.
1) I still think I woulda got killed from a dig unless the guy totally blew the launch.
2) Looks like a stock (he still had stealer plates on) 600 Sport Bike is about the limit for me. Woulda gotten killed by anything larger.
3) He was pulling on me til he hit a certain gear, then he seemed to flatten out. You can almost see when he hit that gear.
4) These cars never cease to make me smile.
5) I MISS MY ASP PULLEY!!! EVOTECH MUST HAPPEN SOON!!
Guy was super cool and pulled up along side in disbelief and smiled and thumbed up. I did the same.

i love running against bikes - i usually get smoked, but its all good fun.
its not often that i come across a car that wants to/can keep up.... bikes are usually game...
oh, and dude, don't film that **** yourself. Its really not worth it...

Nice run.
You most likely would have drilled the R6 outta the hole as they need to be REVVED real high to make decent power,were talking about a bike that makes peak power at 15,000rpm.
I did a few runs with a buddy on his '05 GSXR-600 and got smoked from a 50mph roll.His bike is geared -1 in fron +3 out back which is equal to a +5.5tooth bigger rear sprocket.Besides the fact he barely weighs in at 120lbs with leathers on&knows how to ride.

Lets run it out the back door&see who gets to 200mph first.I'd even give you a 1/4mile head start on that race.
I'm able to hook up a tank-cam but after I pass you there would be nothing interesting to see,just my bike running to 200 or so mph

Are you coming to MIR?? If so, we can do it there. I don't even want a 1/4 mile head start. Just 10 car lengths.. We will run the 1/4 mile. Have you taken your bike to the track. What does it run? Just out of curiousity.

If I bring it to MIR then I have to trailer it,which would suck.
I wont tell you what it runs in the 1/4 as only a few people know that,but I'll tell you that it runs in the 5's@134mph in the 1/8,you should be able to get an idea from that.
And thats the 1000,the Busa is a *tad* bit quicker
