Dataloger what is it?
I have red a few posts regarding something called a Data logger. Allot of people seems to suggest a data logger as a must, to know what your car is doing. IAT is a word I have seen used a lot, but not sure what it stands for

Now I have never seen or operated one, let alone know what it does exactly, other then provide you with some numbers.
Could some one shed some light on the following please:
- What does it do exactly?
- How to use it (hardware /soft ware)?
- Is it easy to use for some one with no mechanical background?
- What type/ brand to get if there is any?
Any help or guides to it will be much appreciated
Thanks in advanced

IAT - Intake Air Temperature
For hardcore things, you can actually get a nice datalogger and track things like pressure differentials, camber angles during lean, etc.
The price runs anywhere from $200 to $2000 for the unit and then it is more for each type of sensor (temp, pressure, etc.)
Hope that helps.
