Anyone had this Warning?
"Car too Low" in Red came up last night. It has stayed on and I'm 200 miles from home. The car looks normal. Tire pressure is normal. What caused this? Is there any danger in driving back home?

Finally found a reference in my manual.
The lowering mechanism is malfunctioning.
They recommend minimal steering actions (yeah right)
and keeping speed low(see above). Does not seem to be dangerous however.

If the car is still sitting at normal height and the warning comes on,it would seem you have a sensor going bad. It's all part of the airmatic system.Im suprised the car didtn change ride height in some sort of way, either up or down.

If it is only a bas signal, shut the car down for a bit and then try again. I have had it come on when I hit really deep bumps at speed. Mine is lowered, though. If you are stock and it looks like stock, I would assume it is a bad sensor or signal. If it resets, then it was just a signal. The car will keep the code, so you can get it checked at the dealer.

Turned out the whole right side collapsed and the car had to be flat bedded to a local Dealer. The Good news is they can fix it within 24 hours. The Bad news is Mercedes does not deliver the car so I'll have to drive back to South Carolina to pick it up. If you see that particular Warning message take heed.
