E63 Drivers seat loose when taking hard turns.

It was in service last week nothing got fixed. The bottom seat cushion moves like 1/2 inch when i corner hard. Car has 1500 miles and I am not 200+lbs. What gives here? this annoys me so much.

4 service visits in 4.5 weeks and 75% of everything is fixed. Im still battling a wicked vibration from the rear of the car.

I may give up on this car real soon.

Just keep taking it in. I use my left foot mashed pretty hard on the dead pedal to hold me in the seat on spirited drives. the active seats definitely help, but I have had the backing on the seat start to open. The service department just replaced the clips and I'm off.

Keep taking it in and make sure it is all documented.

BenzoManNY and jangy: does your E63 have the "dynamic seats" with the compensatory inflatable bladders? I thought such option was no longer available, which is a big mistake on the part of MB, in my view. These dynamic seats are incredibly accurate and helpful, even in a "slow" E500. I can't imagine doing w/o them in an E63 !!

Thanks

The seats in the E aren't really meant for spirited driving. Then again I'm 6' 185lbs and still move around in my Sparcos in my Supra.

I will say this i have owned 3 Jaguar R over the years and all broke the lower cushion, badly but this was after 2-3 years of ownership.

It feels like there is something that needs to be retorqued, i for one am not screwing with it.

it moves left/right, im 170lbs

Mine is an E55, and I agree that they make a HUGE difference.

W211 E55 AMG
rip the stealer a new one, and make sure you get lots of free stuff... if problems persist, look into your local lemon laws... after a certain amount of things go wrong, you're entitled to a brand new car (though they WILL fight you on this, if it IS a lemon, they know they'll probably never get it properly fixed, and they are down a WHOLE car that they'll never be able so sell).
