I currently have a 01 E55 with 58,000 miles. It has Starmark until Dec 08. The car is black on black with all services up to date, and new brakes. Additionally, I want a 05 E55 to buy/trade.

What prices are you seeing out there for 04 or 05's? A local dealer wanted $56,000 for a 31K 04, fully equipped. Sounded very high to me.

I would agree that price was high. I just bought mine about two weeks ago. 04 49Kmi silver w/o parktronic, cruisetronic or whatever or panorama and I gave 46 for it. IT is a CPO w/a 1 yr warranty or 100K mi. I WOULD NOT BUY ONE OF THESE THAT WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. I have seen people make alot better deals than I did. I am located in LA but purchased in Newport Beach where the prices are probably higher. Good luck.

 

03,04's are almost obsolete due to warranty expirations. 56K for an 04 is way too high. Look for 05 or 06 and stay in that price range. Have to be patient to find the right deal.
