Driver side rear sitting lower . . .

It appears the driver side rear is sitting lower. When you look at the car from the rear, it looks like it is leaning to the left. I put two fingers in between the wheel and the wheel well on the passenger side, but could not get it in on the driver side. Do I need to just bring it in to the dealer or is there a way to reset the ride height to see if it will self correct. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Had similar issue on the SL65. It was a broken suspension sensor.

The SL has sensors at all corners of the vehicle, the E has one at each of the front corners but only one in the centre at the rear, so, I doubt it's a broken sensor... He said the problem is in the drivers rear and both sides of rear cannot be adjusted individualy, only as a whole axle.

I have the same problem, drivers side rear is always lower. Park it on a perfectly flat pavement (garage) and leave it started, I bet it looks very even. Mine looks ok but only when parked on a perfectly flat surface.

Mine was too.... and when I had my wheels aligned, the tech told me something about the suspension (can't remember and didn't understand ) that wouldn't allow him to do proper alignment. The foreman had to help him fix / re-adjust it.... now it looks OK.

The paperwork doesn't tell anything other than wheel alignment, though.

E55 AMG
I notice that my passenger rear is sitting 1.5cm lower than the other side. I measured from the centre of the wheel to the bottom of the wheel arch.
36cm all around. Rear passanger 34.5cm. Anyone have a solution for this?

I noticed that my driver side rear sits lower also when no one is in the driver seat. However, the car levels out once someone is sitting in the driver seat. I had someone get in and noticed the the suspension compensated and was level at all 4 corners. Have someone get in while the car is running and take a look.

I pulled the car out on the driveway and lowered it and changed the settings on the shocks. I then drove it and hit the brackes to get everything to adjust. I parked it with the car running and everything looked level now. Very strange.
