Parktronic Question
When I bought my E55 several months ago the parktronic system was not working. The car is under warranty so I took it to the dealer. They found one of the sensors was shorted and replaced them. The system works but I only get an audible warning when I get near something with the front end. When I back up, I get the lights but no audible warning. Is this right? Shouldn't I get an audible warning in the rear? I backed into a small wall in a pouring rain storm this weekend when it was super dark. It really pisses me off that there was no damn audbile warning. Luckily it did no damage to the rear.

should have both. had false positive on driver front post fwy debris knocking out two driver sensors (post dealer fix). when the annoyance factor reached capacity, the 55 gods stepped in and it just went away; now normal. quirky.
