2001 Audi S4, Stage 3
Thanks, I have not timed this car in it's current setup. I try to stay away from the strip and do more road course racing. Others with similar mods and software are running 116-120 I think.

First of all, thank you Darren and the rest of the M5 folks for setting it up. From the courtesy staff, to the food and everything else was great!
My runs were pretty fun, we got to 125-130 in all of them. We were doing some testing between both C32s as they were in different stages. The closest runs were with the Audi, which was 1-1. Raudi - do you have a video of our runs? That thing is a beast! PM me for any other events in town, there is a track event on the 29th at MSR Houston and we frequent the drag strip as well.
I hope more modded AMGs make it next time. Those M5s are no joke.
Nice to meet everyone, we definetely have to do this more often.

I already posted in DFW's post, but let me repeat a few things here! This was a truly awesome event! Darren, Scott, Dritan, absolutely great for the first one! I know that the next one will be even better.
Not having my car there was absolutely KILLING me! And of course I show up in my black MB polo without a car and the first few races that did include MB's were horrible beat downs for the Mercedes'! I joked about changing my shirt at lunchtime!
Watching all the exotics run along with that SICK TT Viper was awesome! Darren's car is an absolute BEAST! I'll need all the mods I'm planning and then some to stay with him even off the happy gas!
Everyone there was just fantastic and I'm sure a good time was had by all despite the lackluster performance by the AMG's. We were all stock and most of the M's were modded to some degree, so there was no real stock to stock comparison to be had. Hopefully for the next one we'll get some modded AMG's to show. If we wait till spring, I'll be one of those modded AMG's!![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
Thanks again to all for this event. Let's have another one soon!

A few videos:
First, the annihilation of the Porsche Carrera GT by the evil twin turbo Viper. CGT didn't help his aerodynamics by running with his top off and windows down, but I don't think even that would've helped him here!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vea__AfzFIg
Next, here's DFW01E55's CL55 vs an '07 M5. Both cars are modded; the CL55 has an ASP pulley, while the M5 has no charcoals (filter) w/BMC filters, EVO power pulley and Dinan 3.91 rear end
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k27Olqkimx0
Lastly, here are my runs vs. two BMW M5s. First two are vs a 2003 with Dinan S3 software and a tubi cat-back. We ran from both a 15-ish mph roll and again from a dig:
Improviz vs modded E39 M5, roll:

And here are two vids of me vs. a stock 2002 E39 M5, again from about a 15-20 mph roll and then from a dig.
Improviz vs stock E39 M5, roll:

I've got some pics coming which were taken by a friend as well, will upload 'em as soon as I get 'em!

![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
This is very worthy of posting on the M5Board for the Nay sayers!

On the CL55 vs M5, I think that race was a given based on the mods of each.

'06 M5
Mike did a fantastic job running his CL55 and was gracious during all the runs regardless of their outcome. He was all smiles all the time and always made sure to check with me in case I needed anything.
A real class act, Great job Mike!

Darren

Ouch, I had almost forgotten that beat down! Wheel spin hurt, but a good launch wouldn't have changed the outcome.

By far the fastest car there was the twin turbo Viper, which just pretty much assraped any and all comers (including the Carerra GT
); lone exception was his final run, where he lost to a modded Z06 (C5), but something seemed to be wrong on that run (he was obviously not trapping anywhere near his normal speed on that last one).

I was very impressed w/how one of those Rufs did against that Carrera GT...but I think the CGT driver's poor aerodynamics definitely came into play there, as the Ruf picked up at high speed, which is where the CGT would get enormous drag from having his roof panel off and windows down!!

I think she's on audiworld as "Zippy" She lives over here on the east coast. There are alot of nice Audi's in this area. Out of the group of people that usually hang out we have a ASP stage 3 S4, AWE stage 3 S4, APR Stage 3 S4, a B5 RS4, and some other nice Audi's

I was surprised when I saw this run too. So I went and talked to Kevin (Z06 owner) and he said: dude, the viper gave me a 3 second start, lol.
