I am furious! I just got a letter from MBUSA to say that the teleaid system is analog and must be converted to digital or it will cease to work after 2007. The kit costs $1500 plus the cost of installation!!!!! What a rip-off. They knew in 2004 that eventually everything would be digital. I had to buy their crappy outdated phone and now this. Personally I'm gonna let the system lapse. For a company that sells itself on safety the fact that they are going to disable the SOS feature is shameful. This is usury asking us to pay for their antiquated technology. Next time I'll get a Jap car that already is ahead of the curve.
