Your worst nightmare...
Joon, let me know if you want an MB master tech to look at it. Jeffrey could hook you up and give you a better diagnostic than the MB stealership. I am completely sure that you can't trust them. I have seen so many things that I don't even know where to begin. Just let me know, this guy does all my mods and has been with MB over 25 years, knows the car inside out.

the real cause though, could a bad oxygen sensor have caused it?
sending wrong a/f ratios->broken piston/ring?

Which dealership are you using? you could take it to Rallye Motors in Great Neck and request that he work on it. I believe that is allowable. Either ways man, I hope everything works out. Keep us posted.

............The problem with going to a dealer is that they will blame everything on the aftermarket products. Your Kleemann ECU is unlikely to blame. Again, you have and entire one side misfiring. Doesn't seem like an ECU problem.

Ted,I'll agree with you on the dealer comment,but have to disagree on the ECU unlikely deal.Maybe another person here on the forum will step in and give some ideas?

Could be four possibilities,

a) Fuel pressure problem

b) Bad software

c) Engine overfilled with oil

d) Bad oil level sensor which leads to overfilling.

Joon give me a call today and we'll ask Jeffrey exactly what to do! he'll chk evrything on the spot as well. Remember he lives in Freeport LI as well, since your car is out there that would make things even easier.

Hello Joon. Was just wondering what you are up to since I haven't seen you on Cyworld. Now I come here and read this thread... damn.. Cheer up!!! I had to struggle with O2 sensor throwing malfunctions codes and CEL light for 2 years and I figured out the solution in the end. I hope everything works out for you in a good way. Take care man..

...............No problem at all. Just giving my unfortunate experience with this PITA problem. I was told that if only one bank is misfiring then it shouldn't be from a problem that should affect both banks. Who knows.

Hi Folks , I was reading my Motor Age magazine . September 2007 and they had a good article on Misfire codes. It will really help you understand things and how many Techs are mislead. Go To www.motorage.com page #27

My car needs one or two quarts every week!!!! thought something was wrong....i guess it could be the bad oil level sensor? Is this common with modded E55 that it eats engine oil this much every week???
