O.Z. Ultraleggera HLT Offset Questions Please Help

Guys,

Please help me with my wheel fitment offset below

Does this offset work with the 2007 E63?

20x8.5
Tire Size: 245/35-20
Wheel Offset: 32mm

20x9.5
Tire Size: 275/30-20
Wheel Offset: 36mm

Should the tires be Fr. 245/30-20 and Rr. 275/25-20 for the above.

Would the O.Z. Ultraleggera HLT Offset below work with the 2007 E63 and what should the proper tire size be?

20x8.5
Tire Size: 245/35-20
Wheel Offset: 32mm

20x10
Tire Size: 275/30-20
Wheel Offset: 35mm

thanks for your inputs.

Hi

Looking at the OZ B2B that we have access to, the wheels should fit on the car. If the fronts dont clear the caliper OZ Supplies a 5mm spacer that will enable sufficient clearance. However it should fit straight on with no spacers required on the front

looks to me like you will have no trouble and anything that does arise should be easily addressed with small spacer. I think either tire will fit your car is a question of ride height vs quality. do you want more or less sidewall(lower profile) looks great but can be bumpy and also lead to rim damage , hit a pot hole and you may damage the rims as the sidewall is decreased.

Will struggle

I think the 10s on the rear will be very tight ... if you go for a 285 tyre you will have a risk of rubbing ... With a 35 offset vs a 39 stock (9" vs 10") you will extend 17mm. My read is that the offset will be 32, looking at the ozracing website for the 19" HLTs, which will be 20mm wider. This will risk rubbing the fender on the outside of the tyre under full compression.

Read rafal's posts. Good luck.

You good to go!

That the offset on my wheel and I have 10" on 285/25 on rear, no rubbing when lowered either.

Sorry, little

I thinking of getting a set of these also, but in 18inch. What offset would you guys recommend for a more aggressive look over stock?

Thanks

Offset depend on width of the rim. How wide is the rim on 18"?

Front 32mm-35mm ET, 32mm will bring it closest to the fender but won't rub. If you going to lower it than 35mm to be safe.

Rear 35mm.

Standard set up is 30 front 39 rear, right?

My 19" are 8.5 ET30 and rear is 9.5 ET31.

Is it not the lower the offset the more it sits out?

I'm confused.. Do you have 18 or 19" wheel? I don't know how those offset will fit a W211 E55.

Assuming you have a W211 E55 and it wheel set up is the same as E63 which I sure it is than the stock offset is 18x8.5" 38mm front and 18x9 39mm rear (18x9.5 44mm performance pkg) per owner manual page 440.

What size wheel?

I used these size 245/40/18 or 245/35/19 or 245/30/20 to stay within spec.

I have two sets of wheels for my E55.

Stock set (AMG type IV)

Front alloy wheels: 18x8" ET30 A2114012602

Rear alloy wheels: 18x9" ET39 A2114012702

Upgrade (AMG type IV 2pc)

Front alloy wheels: 19x8.5" ET30 A2114001202

Rear alloy wheels: 19x9.5" ET31 A2114001402

I am now looking for a lightweight package based on stock sizes with a more aggressive offset...

Thanks

I'm thinking that...

245/30/20 is correct. A 35 might be OK on the "smaller shouldered" brands (Bridgestone or P Zero), and the 30 might be better with Michelins, Toyos...
