It has begun....

OK so I know it's not much, but I got my first mod today. Resonator delete - local shop $60 cash. Definitely sounds different. Not very much, but just enough to know it's not the normal sound. I haven't got it on the highway yet, but this may be perfect in that you don't really notice the different sound until you get on it! Next up, Nitto 555 DR's. Then come spring, all the big goodies.

Now the question for you, can I still say "stock"? I won't say "bone stock" anymore since technically that's true, but I think I can still say stock because res delete doesn't really affect performance.

Whadya think?

I'll see what I can do about the sound file Mike.

Local Midas in Garland did the work. Did it for cash off the books. Took the guy about 1.5 hours. Cut the resonator out, cut and flared two stainless pieces, welded them in the back and clamped them in the front so he could adjust the position of the tailpipes. Nice work and very friendly. I notice a little more rumble at idle, but at speed on the highway I don't notice any difference from before. When I'm on it, I definitely notice more bark. Also noticed a difference when applying gas at low speeds in the parking garage.
