18" Wheel Help
Now - here is my problem - I am trying to find good, reasonably priced 18" wheels to replace the heavy stock wheels all around. I fell in love with the OZ Ultraleggeras, but they were only available in 8" widths from Tirerack. The Kosei's that they had (less than 20 lbs each) just scream "ricer" to me.
Now, I absolutely know that I will bend my rims here in NY/NJ, so I am not going to spend $700 plus per wheel. And I do not want to move up to 19's because that will make a stiff ride even stiffer and will hurt my 60' times at the strip.
Does anyone have any idea on a good, light, 18" rim? I have already been through Tire Rack's website and did not see anything in my price range that I like. Thanks.
I am guessing you have stock 18 as do i.
My question is this.
Are the stock 19 better or worse? as they are an option upgrde in the merc book and seem to come with the 030 package
...so are they better?if so in which areas?
or are 18 better for dig straight line exaliration?
thanks and sorry for the off topic
