OBDII scanner output to COMMAND Screen?
Hi there is it not possible to hook up a laptop with a data logger to display gauge/data video to the command display via aux TV input?
The laptop is surely a workable solution...although some effin around when you get it started, power feed etc,etc...
A permenant hardware unit (i.e. a 12v interface module) hooked up in this way would be simply awesome.... This would be ideal no?
There has to be some way of getting the OBDII data to display on the COMMAND screen ........ mbe some secret menu?

Steve, I looked at doing this way back when I got my C32 with COMMAND. It can be done, you just need to make a custom video converter along some other hardware to read out data. The problem was cost of one-off unit was into $1000s and to mass produce this for MB market would run a lot higher. A laptop with commonly available $300 software is a bit more versatile.
