Lightbulb Error message

Fellas,

I am geting this message on the ClK500 and E55.

Engine oil not level when egine on
What is this? both went in for service two weeks ago and dealer said everything is fine.

Is this a common problem or I have a leak? but no oil noticed on the floor.

Anyone have a clue?

Thanks,

All The Ic Is Telling You Is That In Order To Check Your Oil Level Thru The Cluster The Engine Can Not Be Running. Check Your Owners Manual, It'll Tell You How To Check Oil Level Thru The Ic.

Talked to my tech just yesterday (got his cell and we chat back and forth) about oil errors I am getting.

He told me that oil sensors are another huge problem in the Benz world. Said he's replaced dozens and dozens.

Of course have everything else checked first, then have them pop in a new sensor. Usually does the trick.
