2004 E55 AMG

problem help..

just got my e55 a month ago... and when im in the interior i heard a knocking noise.. i have brought it to the dealer and they told me it was normal. the knocking sound can only be heard in the interior of the car. It get louder as the engine gets hotter.. please help me, becuase it annoy the **** out of me.. thanks for any help..

I can only say that I don't have that noise on my 06. Try another dealer

no it's a constant.. knocking noise.. you can't really hear it when you turn on the engine.. only when the engine gets hot. it gets louder.

Whilst its making the knocking noise take it back to your local dealer and tell them that it isnt normal and insist they take a proper look at it instead of trying to fob you off.Car still under some kind of warranty ???

Does it change while driving - car under load? Same knocking frequency as car speed and revs change ???

Could be faulty engine/tranny mounting ...

Sry did not see you hear it from inside the cabin... !!

Has got to be something to do with heating system... stuck valve / motor try turing A/C & fans off ... does it go away / change ? Turn heating to max does it go away / change ?

Does it change when taking a corner / max steering lock .. ?

Remove all DVD's CD/s from loader ... any diff ... ? Where approx is it coming from ? front foot well / dash ? I get some creaking and took me a long while to find out it is dash rubbing against windshield.

i went to the dealer today and the foreman told me it was the purge valve making that pulsing sound. Thanx you guys for all yur inputs very appreciate.
