Intro
Hey guys,
I'm kind of new here, so I thought I'd do a little intro to get to know some of you guys here.
I've been a member of this forum for a while and reading up because I was thinking of picking up a 05/06 E55. A bit over a month ago, I saw a black on black CPO 06 E55 with all the options with low miles and great price. I went to the dealer and lucky me, it was sold the day before.
I spoke to the sales person, who turned out to be a friend of a friend, and they had a 05 flint grey E55 or I can try my hand at a E63. I was like, oh hell, why not try the E63 since I'm here. I've test drove a few E55s already, so why not. Damn, I didn't want to get out of the E63 after I drove it. So I bought it, hahaha. It was a little more than I was planning to pay, but it's such a sweet ride.
This is my first benz, so any tips as far as maintenance wise? I hope to learn some things from you guys, cus some of you guys seem to really know the ins and outs of these cars.
If there's a bay area meet let me know, I'd be down for it too.

Welcome!
Maintenance wise, i would just suggest you follow the break in period before going all out & change the oil at 1500 miles (that's what i did
)
..and last but not least, have fun with your new ride.
