Make sure the two front dials are set to the same settings. Also try to raise the car all the way up using the up button on the car then lower it to sport two.

The front are both set to the same... I thought the front two did not affect the rear? I have raised it and lowered it several times

It's common in the w211 for one side to sit lower than the other. Most people aren't aware of this until they slam the car where the difference becomes noticeable. Same can be said with the BMW e60. The right side of my previous 545i sat lower than the left when I had H&R Race springs and PSS9 coilovers.

I have the RLM on my E63 and I noticed that one side sat lower than the other too. I can't remember if the right or left side sits lower. I'll measure it this weekend.

If your right front is set higher than the left front then your left rear will show lower. Turn the switch to of and see if it sets level

There's nothing to correct. The car came that way. One side is heavier than the other. You just noticed it b/c of the RLM. I thought this was unique to BMW but my tuner, Darwin @SonicMS, told me that MB is the same way. I think the difference was corrected with the RLM where one side is set to 1 and the other to 2?

I'm headed to SonicMS this weekend for a BBQ and to drop the car to get prepped for the SF Auto Show on the 22nd. I'll confirm what he did to fix it, if he did even fix it.

The levels on the front have everything to do with how the rear sits. An inch is alot. All cars do have some minor variations from side to side, but not an inch. If you have a friendly dealer, get the STAR ride height recalibrated.

Were the front arms touched? If so, they may have been reversed, which causes this 1 inch difference.

Have you driven the crap out of it slammed? Our wheels camber as they lower, so the bottom of the wheel comes out. If you do not let it, it makes the top look raised.

If all else is good, I would reset it and see if it doesn't fall into place. Worst case, you have a few options.
You can play with the front heights to get the rear level (via ELM)
You can have STAR do the same thing
