305/30/zr19???
If I buy a proper set of 19 inch rims, will 305/30/ZR19 PS2s fit in the back? Whats the widest I can go?

I think you can fit 305 if you got like ET 40 offset of even ET42...non agressive set up...I remeber one guy fit 305 tyres on 20 inch wheels....

No way. I've been there and done that. the widest that fits the W211 without modifications is 295, regardless of anything else. That is how much room there is between the subframe (on the inside) and the panel on the outside. An offset of 40 42 and some rolling on the fender will do it (that is where I am going).
Also, keep in mind that I am running the same profile and size on 18" rims, so you will be an inch taller.

So 285 it is then... How about the size of the rim? Will a 19" x 9.5 affect the performance? Also, is buying rims off ebay safe?
