Record Setting Day at MIR for CL600 and C55

We had awesome day we had at MIR. First I want to thank Ahmad who always goes thru a lot to put these events on, we as a whole appreciate your efforts lil brother. What started off as a rainy cold morning ended up being a dry cool day for some great runs. Craig and his wicked fast C55 continues to put down sick numbers as his best of the day was 12.21@112 My CL600 ran a 10.98@123.42 with a 1.61 60ft. I still have to figure out whats going on with my low trap, its very puzzling. Temp was about 55 when i made this run and i had the reservoir full of ice. No complaints on the ET as this is the first non-nitrous 600 into the 10's

Congrats bro! I told you that beast is a 10s car and now you've proven it! Congrats to Craig too! His car hauls *** for an NA car! I have a s/c and am barely quicker. I wish I would have seen my time with nitrous, too bad I broke an axle within 2 seconds of using it

Thanks Mathmik, it was nice meeting you too. I love your CLS!

Real Cars
E55JAY,

Awesome runs. That trap speed is not really possible. You are running 98mph in the 1/8th... that would point more to like 128mph-130mph in the 1/4. Whatever your problem is, at the 1/8th mile you definitely are doing fine. Either the track's equipment is off (which would make everyone's trap off) or your car is hitting a brick wall between the 1/8th and the 1/4 mile point.

Good luck man.

Reservoir full of ice....he has an additional reservoir in the trunk that he fills with ice. Helps on forced induction cars to cool the air going back into the engine.

Congrats

Jay,
Congrats.. Very nice time. Sorry I missed it. Looking at the time, is it safe to say that this wasn't even your first run of the day?

With those ambient temps, I guess the gloves are a must.

Another great day! Thanks for putting this together again guys.

Congrats to Jay for the first 10 second run and to the C55 for smokin up the track, I've got a long way to go to catch him!

Also saw the 1st 9 second pass by a BMW in the US at 9.92 and the highest trap for a BMW at 148mph (2 different cars).

As always, here are the 1st set of pics I got edited last night, many more to follow.
