I've already checked the tcu for oil contamination and checked the PCB on the shifter and no signs of damage or corrosion. I'm going to pull the trigger on that mb-ii and update when I get more info

So there is a signal being sent showing a steering wheel upshift at the TCU. It's a sporadic signal. I have swapped the TCU, and with the scanner it shows the steering column module isn't receiving upshift request from the paddles. So the only thing it goes too is the CAN by the driver's seat. I am unsure how to test it without STAR though... I have even replaced the engine oil level sensor on a hunch but no luck

I have the canbus C exposed, and I have the wiring diagram, but im unsure how to know which cable is the one for the manual shifting, they are all green and unlabeled on the actual can bus. Any help?
