Tech question

Hi guys I just got a 05 E55 and still trying to learn how to use the ride function. Obviously when you put it in sports mode I would asume the height adjustment of the car would be at it's lowest. For example if at sports mode can you adjust the height manually to set it higher? I probably wouldn't use the function where you can raise the car unless i'm driving in snow or rough roads.

Sport mode stiffens the suspension. It doesn't lower it.

level mode

Thanks for the info. There is another mode that adjusts the height of the car. Do you use this function manually? And how often?

There are two height adjustment avenues. You reach 70 mph and the car automatically lowers about an inch. The other is pressing the raise botton by the shifter to raise the car about an inch. Other than that I don't know of any other may for OEM.

I have a Renntech module to adjust my ride height but that is aftermarket.

Besides the car lowering itself at 70mph. Can I lower the car whenever I want at slow speeds too?

You have two sport settings below the shifter on the console...they each lower it a bit I believe...should be in your manual.
