K2, what to expect?

Have had my car for quite some time, and have been focused on asthetics only. After reading all the posts about modded E55's on about to pull the trigger on the Kleeman K2 package. I got an amazing deal $6000 installed, so im gonna go for it. What else should i consider, and what am i to expect the car to feel like? Is it a dramatic difference from stock? Its in the 40's here now and getting colder, so i was going to wait to do a pump and HE upgrade after winter...Thoughts?

100% night and day difference. You'll have a smile that will last for about 2 weeks straight.

Word of warning though, it takes you to a place that can be scary. I thought my K2 would be it...PERIOD. 20K+ later, I am about to strap the belt around my arm and inject more mods this week. Sigh.....I'm an addict and there's no hope for me now.

+1, you'd think 550 HP at crank would satisfy your thirst...Nah man, you can't stop, one shot and you will be hooked. With the money I have spent on my car, I could have bought another daily driver with the value of 20K or more, lol! You have been warned. It feels good though...told you Iwas hooked. lol!

If you don't have to worry about emissions remove the primary cats only. Cory told me removing the secondaries don't add power. Your price is fantastic on the K2.

The other guys are right, get the K2 and you'll be walking the street for more money to get more mods. It's easy to sink another 20k 30k 40k or more. I had to go to a rehab center and still I get sooooo tempted.

Hi my name is Jon...I am a torqueaholic. I am still off the wagon...Jak is right it can be addictive. On the serious tip, I've had my modded car in my hands for about a week and it is night and day.

My car seems to rev more freely and the power is so damn linear from 0 to 100+. You just have to be more in tune with your right foot, though. It's so damn easy to the light the tires up. If you take any type of corners, save up for an LSD.

I'm still waiting to take it to the track...I can't wait. Just make sure the installer knows what the heck they are doing and the customer service during and post install is there. You will have a lot of questions and the guys/gals on the forum are great source of info. Good luck.

this is just a suggestion!
instead of K2 why not EVOtech 168mm pully and ECU for 2599 and Vics headers for 2499 shipped. then just pay the install. you will get about 30-40 extra HP going this way. trust me you will switch pullys in no time flat as everyone else mentioned its never enough. i know i have swapped all my renntech stuff, it cost me alot but much better performance.

I did the K2 two or three months ago. It is amazing, when you first pick up the car, it doesn't sound much different at first but then when you get on it, ....wow. For me, the sound is perfect. When the car reallys warms up, you have a deep growl that isn't intrusive in the cabin. Downshifting causes nice burble sound. The primary cats have to be deleted with the Kleeman headers anyway. Leave the secondary on. It has a lot more smell to it even with leaving the sec cats. The KN filters came with the package and you notice more air rush sound in the front of the cabin. At the track, I am in the 11's despite 2plus 60 ft, trapping at 121 plus rountinely. I find myself taking the long way home from work again the same as I did when I first bought the car because its "new"
