My E55 is not running well...
I brought it in a couple weeks ago for the IC pump, or so i thought. It had all the signs of a bad IC pump so they replaced it. well It is not fixed. I have a johnson IC pump sitting next to me but shouldn't a brand new IC pump from MB work if that was in-fact the problem? If i go full throttle from about 40 to 120mph after that the car is a dog for 5 to 10 min. I have lost numerous races because of this (inc a crappy 5.0 mustang!) also around 1800 rpm the car seems to miss a step. Its under light acceleration and its almost like the fuel is just cut for a split second. Now yesterday a check engine light came on. Also my transmission like to pound the car forward at goofy times under slight throttle up shifts. I would assume the tranny problem in unrelated to the others. The tranny problem is much more intermittent. What's wrong with my car! I know these cars are very well built... anyone have any ideas?

2005 E55 drowned/ 2011 CTS-v coupe gone/ 2012 E63 PP,LSD finally here
it's kinda of a good thing the CEL came on, it should be easier to get to the problem now that it has stored a code, first thing get it scanned and see what made the CEL light come on and work from there
