Looks like the 2008 C63 Amg will have a throttle blipping feature on downshifts and faster transmission along with a flat bottom steering wheel

I wonder if the E63 will be upgraded to that transmission, any thoughts on this > and for occassional back seat usage will the c63 be more fun over E63?

I definitely think they will change the TCU program. They may be stress testing the 7g in this mode as we speak.
As for the back seat fun, I'm not sure what you mean but I can tell you my E is WAAAY more private and comfy.

I meant, I need the back seats only for a month in a year and I was wondering if back seats space is not that critical will the C63 be more fun over E63 since it is smaller and lighter

HAHAH!! Got ya. It all depends what you are after. A new C, with coil overs AND a 500HP engine may be a beast. I would assume that it would be much more of an involved driving experience (fun factor).
I don't know about the new C, but the old one had odd geometry to it. It was longer than wide (proportionally). I like more of a square footprint to a rectangle. What it did is make the old C more stable on the straights than the Bimmers, but the Bimmers could carve canyons around the C.
Now, MB claims the new C is a driver's car that outhandles it's Bimmer rival. They used the same marketing when they launched the W211. They claimed it outhandled the new 5 series and 1 magazine agreed (LOL!!).

All in all, I think the C63 will be a blast. You can likely get it and sell it within a year and not loose much, either. In comparison, once you get an E the money is gone.
