I think the car in the ad looks great. I wouldn't call having the AMG Package a poser kit. Probably best if the 63 badges did come off. Just like in an earlier thread about AMG posing, there will be a few posts soon though trying to justify the 63 and AMG badges. There is NONE.

I know a lot of people on here disagree with me, but people like this make me sick. This is beyond just doing something to his car, this line, in my opinion, really sums up the mentality of people like this:
"Want to drive a $95,000.00 E63 and spend HALF the money?"
He isn't driving an E63. It's like he's insinuating that people who actually buy E63s are morons when they should just buy E350s and make them look like E63s.
No offense to the original poster. I can definitely tell from a number of things besides the brakes.

I think it looks great, if somebody wants to have the look of an AMG, it's not a big deal to me, it's no different than any other car putting on a lip or body kit. I do have a problem with him putting on the AMG and E63 badges. Oh well, what can you do?

I agree with you.
There is an e350 here in Vegas with the full E55 badge package and the fancy bolt on ground clearance reducing quad tips. I have challenged the owner a couple of times in my Boxster S and he declines every time.
