The last thing on my mind before getting a E55 was thinking is the car gonna leak water? It rained all night and this morning I get in my car ready to go to work and I see a smudge on the top passenger side corner where the front winshield panel meets the door and find out that it was wet. So I called the dealer and they said it could be a clog or the winshield was replaced wrong. Anyone have any ideas why? Is this a common problem w. 05 E55?

 

No its not normal. Sounds like a clogged sunroof drain. Call your dealer and have them check if your car has a campaign for water drain update. Certain E class models had campain for clogging water drains.
