Car registration....what do you pay?

Has anyone gambled and NOT registered you car(s)?
In the state of Nevada, the ticket price for "no vehicle registration" is $190.
Upon receiving that type of ticket, all you need to do is pay the fine and you don't need to prove that you registered your car.
I have a friend who has received two non registration tickets this year while driving 1 of his 4 different cars. All he does is pay the tickets and moves on. He saves approximately $3,000 dollars a year
