Opinions of BFG T/A KDW2?

Yeah, yeah, I know... get the damn PS2's. I'm currently running PS2's on my car, but the time is fast approching to replace them. I know they're great, but how much better?

The BFG's seem to have good reviews and (theoretically) better treadlife, which would make me happy. The biggest negative I've heard is for road noise, any idea how bad it is?

Thanks for the input!

I've got the 18" AMG 2 spokes... standard factory stuff.

This car is my daily driver so I'd prefer tire life to performance but don't want a huge performance sacrifce either. I would imagine that here in FL, with no real twisties & mostly flat, I might not notice much of a difference except on launch.

I don't have any set opinion of the PS2's, other than most everyone thinks they're the best. My only other experience is with the Conti's, which I know suck.

Not that I'm cheap, but if I can save $300 per set of tires, I wouldn't be unhappy. I'll spend whatever I need to, but hey, why not check out other options, right?
