Noob question, sort of

My 2004 E55 is coming off warranty in a few months. I've been reading this forum and there's an abundance of information to the point of being overwhelming. I've had the car almost 4 years and now I'm thinking about modding it. My other 2 sports cars have been modded, now it's time for the saloon. I live in the SF Bay area and if someone can recommend some tuner shops, that would be great. I would also like to know what you would recommend to get more power. I don't want to go crazy and reduce the reliability of my E55. I already have wheels on order. I'm also interested in an exhaust. Sorry for the long winded request. Many TIA.

You could start @ Kleeman K1 or even K2. I haven't heard of anyone really having reliability issues at K1 level. You are at a slippery slope though...trust me a lot of us guys have been there...I've fallen and I still can't get up.
