Filter Replacement DIY?
The only tool you really need is a torx screwdriver. I can't remember the size.
I'm sure there's pics of the install on the boards somewhere. Just start by being nosey and you'll "learn as you go". I don't know if it makes a difference but I ALWAYS(more **** stuff) make sure the I put the tubes back on the same side I took them out from.
What I like to do is take the entire intake out as one piece. It snaps right out. The only fasteners are two clips on the ring that fits around the TB inlet.
To remove the intake:
Take off the feeder tubes into the intake
Undo the two clips on the ring around the TB (slightly lift the connection off)
Pull off the feedback tube on the driver's side (just slips on and off).
Pop off the intake and take it out. Each side has two pressure clips holding it down. You just pop it up and they let go. For install, you line them up and push and it goes right in place.
Thing to keep in mind. The bottom of the airbox has two little tabs that are used to line up where they sit on the block. Make sure you use those when you replace the unit for a nice snug fit.
Easy way (just for filters). Just unscrew the torx screws on the top of the airbox. Each side removes separately. Swap out filters and replace everything. Takes about 15 minutes.
