Track question...

Since a lot of issues with our cars on the track are traction issues, wouldn't it be better to have some added weight (? as far as how much) over the rear wheels? I thought that the reason that the 55wagon was faster to 60 than the sedan was the greater weight bias to the rear?

I know conventional wisdom is to lighten the a car to go faster, but in drag situations getting off the line is a greater issue...no? Just thinking out loud...any thoughts?

PS I'll already be running drag radials when heading to the track.

yeah

I would love to run the 1/4 with my top down ... but the track won't allow it.

How much weight do you think that would have added to the rear?

I try to run with somewhere between 1/2 and 1/4 tank. When I go below 1/4 tank, my 60' times suffer.

if you run drag radials you will have no traction issues
