Since Jaime Pickard and Chris Stump left OEMPARTSDIRECT, service is terrible. I still haven't received a response for parts that I requested 3 weeks ago. Also called for a part on Friday and the "guy" who was the one in charge wasn't there therefore they couldn't sell me anything.

Makes no sense... sad..

Quote: We need OEM parts all the time. If your hookup is consistent, let me know. I need a bunch of little parts, too and just haven't gotten around to them.

If anyone has access to quotes, let me know how much for the left and right mesh pieces for the fog lights. The center one lived.
Give me a list. I got two quotes for other people today. Average discount is around 30% off dealer list.
You'd need to add in the cost from my house to yours for out of towners.

THis is exactly why I am hesitant to go elsewhere to save a few bucks; I see the extra cost of dealer parts as insurance against anything going wrong; i.e. I'm driving a $90k car, don't want to be penny wise, pound foolish on replacement parts.

But it sounds like you guys have good experience doing so, so if that is true, very cool and I wish you continued reduced-price success.

OEMpartsdirect charged my CC for the part I ordered and today I received an e-mail today stating that I will not be receiving my part and they are sorry.

Have they gone out of business?

It looks like things are getting shady. We used to get great response, but they prolly don't have enough people anymore.

Just so you guys know...

oempartsdirect is actually run out of an MB dealership in Roanoke, Va. I believe it's called Hammersley Group. I doubt they're out of business, they just don't have anyone that can run the online retail side of things since Jaime and Chris left.

Would you extend this offer to any of us or just the poster you replied to?

Anything within reason. I'm checking on a windshield for someone, but I don't think the logistics of shipping that will be viable.
