211 MPH M5
G-Power’s 730hp supercharged V10 is the world’s fastest streetable M5.
Remember our post a few months back on G-Power’s E46 with the M5’s V10, aka Das Sleeper? If you thought that was nuts, this Sepang Bronze E60 M5 has been supercharged to 730hp and G-Power claims it’ll hit 211 mph. Power starts to kick you in the *** at 3,800 rpm and the rest of the ponies and TQ come in between 7,500 and 8,200 rpm—with the supercharges spinning over 100,000 rpm. It’ll cost about $440,730 (car included) or your existing M5 can be converted, for a tidy sum, of course.

$430,000
That is a power premium that an idiot would pay...sorry just my feelings on it. That would be about 4 times the amount you would pay for a fully modded out E55 (say an 05/06 with all the power VRP/Kleeman trimmings).
PS Is the 100,000 rpms a misprint?

$400k
Thats stupid, I feel like you could go to someone and get the same HP for half that or less... its really lame because you shell out that much and at the end of the day you are still in an M5. I'd take and mod the **** out of an S65

I'd rather get 2x E55/63s, mod 'em both, drive to the super bowl via tickets bought from scalpers, be a hero to my wife and give her $10k to shop with, take my daughter to each of Brett Favre's last season home games (next season), and set aside a $100k for retirement, for that price. .........oh, and pay each of you $100 to say my Maroon color is by far the best, and that I'm the only one with one.

For $650K I'd ***** that a "lowly" SL65 could possibly match the performance with a modicum of mods from VRP......VRP here I come!!!!

You can get a discount off msrp for an SLR in Dallas. (Rightfully so, the car just ain't all that.)
Back to the thread ... there must be some pretty stupid people out there to put out that kind of money for an M5. I bet they sell exactly none.
