Unhappy It is with mixed feelings that I introduce myself...

It is with mixed feelings that I introduce myself. I am the proud new owner of JRocket's unbelievable E55, but that's where the good news ends.

The night I flew into Cali, his wife called me and told me he had been hit by an SUV while running. Thankfully, he survived the tragedy and appears to be recovering well given the circumstances. The SUV had pulled out into oncoming traffic lanes to go around everyone at a 4-way stop. I don't know much except what his wife discussed with me which was a broken leg, broken vertebrae, and a major concussion. He is in surgery today and is expected to be able to return home early this upcoming week to finish his recovery at home.

John, I know you'll be on this forum a lot probably during your recovery. I hope you didn't mind me sharing this. I wish you the best for a quick recovery, and I thank your wife for working with me during this difficult time. If I don't get to meet you during the rest of my stay, I hope we can touch base in the future. The car is simply amazing, and I will take excellent care of your baby.

Oh man, that's terrible news. I'm glad he's "ok" though.

If you read this john, and need anything, please please let me know. I'm close enough and I don't mind a trip to the 951

My heart stopped for a second when you said he was hit by an SUV!
Our prayers will be with him! Man, there has been a lot of stuff affecting the members over the last few weeks.

Congrats on the car 2root4u, I saw it in action at Fontana a couple of months ago and it's a sweet ride that Johnny took great care of!

Good luck to Jrocket on a full fast recovery. At least he survived it. Seems to be alot of negative energy lately with forum members. Bluemax, jrocket, etc... Lets all be carefull and end the bad cycle.

While I don't personally know JRocket, I am very impressed with his willingness to help a fellow Merc driver and his knowledge.

Best wishes on the recovery!

And welcome to the forum 2root4U.

Holy Chowder!

I just hopped on here real quick to complain about my Redskins losing, in the off topic section. I was in such a bad mood and reading this has made me go upstairs, kiss my wife and tell her I love her. That game is meaningless compared to this.

John,

We, here at MBWorld and MyMBOnline wish you a very speedy recovery. Thank God things didn't turn out worse. Get well soon bro!

Oh and Rob, congrats on your purchase and welcome to the boards. JRocket's car is one fast machine. I've seen it in action twice at Fontana, and was hoping to see it again at Sacramento. Maybe you can join us to really test out the car . Here is the link:

Wishing you a speedy recovery as well John! It is so fortunate that nothing worse happened.

Any word on what happened to the SUV driver? This pisses me off.
