What water temps do you see in your cluster?

I just took a drive in my 2004 SL55 in 42 degree weather and got it up to almost 100.

When I had my E55 I think it was mostly just above 80.

No mods on the car and just had a new pump installed under warranty.

What is wrong?

that sounds pretty normal. My C320 is always above 80 but below 100... usually low 90s.

yea, 100 (celcius) seems a bit high for cold weather outside. My E55 is usually just a tad above 80 during cold months, regardless of how hard I push her.

No idea what could be the deal on yours.
