The MB E55 and burning oil.
took it in for an oil change and just out of curiosity i asked... MB say SPEC is burning 1 quart of oil every 1k miles
I don't even think GM's is that nuts!? Are they wrong?

Mine is burning 1Q per 1500 and my service advisor is worried, although she acknowledges that it's supposed to be normal. So now we're doing an official oil burn check, bringing it in every time it calls for oil so they can determine mileage. which will cost me $50 plus the oil...
