I thougth you where going to to dyno your car
YA the car was suposed to be dynoed last week but Adams dyno had a bad A/F reading so he decided to find another dyno. Trust me I want my car back as soon as I can so I have to wait for Adam. I can tell you this he and I agree the power is there that is for sure. it pulls stupid hard. Im gonna guess 25-30hp Vic thinks more but the dyno will tell all. Everyone should PM adam askin when the dyno will get done.lol J/K Adam
What I want to see is the diference between mine and Jackpros.

Quote: You guys are killing me with all the teasers!!! Lets see some numbers already!

Congrats Rock!
Sorry but we have an outside temp of 28 degrees and 6" of snow on the ground............. so a tease is about the best I could do.

Actually it will be a couple of weeks before they go in but I'll post up numbers as soon as I get to the track.

Russ, I promise I did not get your cams.

That top spot is going to be up for grabs... but.. I suspect that this summer there will be alot of 700hp++ MBs roaming around town so competition is going to be stiff.

So why should this stop you??? Based on your 60 foots, I always assumed it was snowing every time you tracked your car. Sorry Bro! I couldn't resist that one. Congrats on your cams and keep us posted.

Wow that **** is gonna sound mean

What will the straight pipes replace, mufflers or post/pre cats as well? You might lose some tq from loss of backpressure. Vic did when he had his resonators out...

The Straight Pipes will replace the Cats and Resonators. I will only have the Stock Mufflers in place, which will be "Gutted" for a Louder/Deeper Sound.
I will also have Exhaust Dump Valves placed before the Mufflers for an all out Loud Blast Sensation!

I doubt I will loose any Torque because of the free Flowing Exhaust.
It will help my Aggressively Moded "VRP AMG Air Pump" to become more Aggressive!

that would be fun. I need to get the idle set higher. You can hear the car camming all lumpy at idle as it floats from 550-800 rpms. It shakes a bit too! I need to get the idle up to 1000 rpm though.

I went to the PFS dyno shoot out this weekend in MD but couldn't get on the dyno. Saw a 9 second 760 whp RX7, low 10 sec second stock looking 350Z with 705 whp, 1000 whp Supra and then a 7.8@187 Supra that pegged the dyno at 1200 whp at like 5k rpms. It was probably good for 1500whp.

I got into the car today and saw the ESP flash up to 90 mph. I can't lay the power to the ground in 30 degree weather.

DJ,

I stopped talking to you when I realized that gold chains were more important to you than good taste........................................

As for my mad driving skills you are probably right......A 60ft time can only be so bad..... and based on my previous runs, what difference is a few inches of snow really going to make?

Hehe, you crack me up!!

Havoc...gutting the stock mufflers makes a great deal of difference in exhaust sound...you will love it, especially with addition of the EDV. I love the sound of mine...yours will sound Beastly!!!

PS This thread talking about all our mods coming is giving me a chubby!

Let me see it before you adjust the idle!!! So you think I should get the cams?

Damn, had I known you were there I would have made the trip. Decided to watch football and put a trans back in an S4 instead. You must be talking about this RX-7 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTeKQPUnzCc and the supra belongs to Paul Efantis, rediculously sick supra! One of the big supra guys Jimmy P actually owns a C32 and is on this board!!! Cool guy.

Isaac,

Alot of that will smoothen out as you put miles on it.. after 200miles it will be alot smoother so you might want to wait a bit before you change the idle level.

Jim's car was shaking like that too and he just told me tonight how smooth it has become now and he hasnt touched anything.

Put some miles on it before doing anything.. Dont dyno until you put 200miles on the car.
